Mr. Bennett is internationally recognized as one of the leading teachers of the Stanislavsky System. A former student of the Moscow Art Theatre émigré teacher and director Sonia Moore, he has refined his training techniques throughout 50+ years of teaching the Stanislavsky System of Acting.

Over the course of these introductory sessions, you will explore the nature of art, the essence of the actor and the “Creative Self” and perform an exercise of self-exploration – The Creative Diary.

The students will explore monologues and scenes from a contemporary play using Stanislavsky’s ultimate technique: Active Analysis through Psychophysical Actions. Emphasis will be placed on how to find one’s higher Self in the role, in order to create Depth and Truth!

Classes will be face-to-face and will be taught in English by Professor Philip, who will join us remotely (online, via Zoom) directly from Tucson, Arizona, USA. Brazilian actress Clarissa Waldeck, a former CAL student and Philip’s experienced assistant, will be in the room, in person, acting as a facilitator, accompanying the work and simultaneously translating whenever necessary.

Ex-aluno da professora e diretora emigrada do Teatro de Artes de Moscou Sonia Moore, ele refinou suas técnicas de treinamento ao longo de mais de 50 anos ensinando o Sistema Stanislavsky de Atuação.

Ao longo destas Master Classes, você irá explorar a natureza da arte, a essência do ator e do “Eu Criativo”, e vivenciará exercícios de autoexploração – O Diário Criativo.

Os alunos trabalharão em monólogos e cenas de uma peça contemporânea utilizando a técnica de Stanislavsky: Análise Ativa através de Ações Psicofísicas. A ênfase será colocada em como encontrar o seu Eu mais elevado dentro da personagem, de modo a criar Profundidade e Verdade!

As aulas serão presenciais e ministradas em inglês pelo professor Philip, que se juntará à turma remotamente (online, pelo Zoom) diretamente de Tucson, Arizona, EUA. A atriz brasileira Clarissa Waldeck, ex-aluna da CAL com vasta experiência em assistir Philip, estará na sala com os alunos, pessoalmente, agindo como facilitadora, acompanhando os trabalhos e fazendo a tradução simultânea quando necessário.
